Machine-assisted translation can help accelerate some workflows, but output may still contain errors, inconsistent terminology, unnatural phrasing or missed context. FM Production can provide human post-editing and linguistic review, with the level of intervention defined by content type, audience, risk and client
requirements.

- Meaning and completeness against the source
- Grammar, fluency, tone and natural phrasing
- Terminology and consistency
- Names, numbers, dates, captions and other high-attention details
- Formatting or structural issues visible in the supplied files
- Documented queries and unresolved ambiguities for client review
Confidentiality and AI use
AI tools are not assumed to be suitable for every project. Before processing client material with an external AI service, the workflow should be checked against the client’s confidentiality, data-handling and security requirements. If the brief requires no external AI processing, that requirement must be agreed and followed. Do not send confidential files through public tools without authorization.
